This article is a culmination of a three year research project about photocatalysis and its use for air cleaning. It connects laboratory results with measurements in a wind tunnel that simulates the behavior of air in real development. FN NANO®2 coating was applied in one street canyon in a model of a typical urban development. The measurement results proved that this coating is capable of cleaning the air in polluted cities.
