Team of the best photocatalytic scientist from J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry, Czech Academy of Sciences (CAS) managed to publish another article. The „Photocatalytic abatement of air pollutants: Focus on their interference in mixtures“ printed in the Journal of Photochemistry & Photobiology, A: Chemistry is a culmination of their long-term work on measuring and testing air purification using photocatalysis and photocatalytic technology FN NANO®.

Outdoor air contains many pollutants such as inorganic nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur oxides (SOx) and nitrogen oxide (CO) and ozone (O3), as well as organic and carcinogenic compounds (VOC). The study concludes that the removal efficiency of individual pollutants is not affected when the pollutants are in a mixture. It is therefore possible to model the photocatalytic process even for real conditions based on laboratory measurements.

We use this fact in our 3D models. We are able to simulate the environmental effect of the coating on the ambient air. We can calculate compensation measures for both small and large development projects.
